Prado was born in St. Ann's, Jamaica on September 26, 1972.  She is a 1993 graduate of the Florida State University, where she double-majored and graduated with Bachelors of Science degrees in both Finance and Multinational Business.  In 1995, she received her Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from the Florida State University College of Law.

Throughout college and law school, Ms. Prado worked for a small business, managing the day to day operations of the business, gaining a great deal of discipline as well as business and professional experience.  After graduation, she worked with the Florida Department of Revenue as a Revenue Specialist.  She then worked with the Florida Department of Insurance as an Insurance Examiner regulating Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) and then as an Asset Recovery Manager with the Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation, which took over the operations of insolvent Workers’ Compensation carriers.  She then relocated to Fort Myers and joined the North Law Firm, P.A., focusing on Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury for almost 10 years before becoming an equity member of Bruno & Prado, PLLC.

Ms. Prado is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the American Bar Association, the Lee County Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Division of the Florida Bar.
